1H 2020 Oil Exports Through Kozmino Port 5% Up to Make 17.2M Tonnes

In the first half of 2020, the Kozmino oil port shipped 17.2 million tons of Russian oil for export through the marine terminal of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline system, which is 5% higher than in the previous year.  During the first six months of 2020, the oil terminal’s specialists handled 170 tankers.

China traditionally remains the leader in terms of ESPO oil volumes among eastern recipients. About 82% of all hydrocarbons were shipped to its ports. South Korea comes second with 9%. Japan took 3rd place with 3%. This is followed by Malaysia, the Philippines and New Zealand (2% each).

Since the launch of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean Pipeline System in 2009, 267.9 million tonnes of crude have been exported to Asia and the Pacific through the port of Kozmino.
