Primorye Territory’s Administration Awards Transneft Kozmino Port with Commemorative Token on Region’s 80th Anniversary

Primorye Territory’s administration has awarded Transneft Kozmino Port with a commemorative token on the region’s 80th anniversary for its high performance indicators, huge contribution to the development of the region and for being a socially responsible business.

Transneft Kozmino Port is a quickly developing company. From the moment of its founding in 2009, the Company’s personnel ensures round-the-clock uninterrupted operation of facilities, given year-round navigation in the following main lines: accepting, pumping, metering, storing and loading oil to heavy-lift marine vessels. Now, the port of Kozmino exports 31.7 million tonnes of oil per year.

From the start of the Kozmino oil port’s operations, Primorye Territory has received new jobs, some of them occupied by young professionals. Nowadays, Transneft Kozmino Port employs 790 persons.

Charity is a crucial line of Transneft Kozmino Port’s social work. The Company gives targeted aid to educational, sports and cultural institutions, children’s homes and non-governmental entities. In 2010 – 2017, the amount of charity given by the Company totalled RUB 39 million.

Kozmino oil port is the biggest taxpayer in Primorye Territory. In 2009 – 2017, it transferred RUB 22.6 billion to budgets of various levels.
