Transneft Supports Cultural Project of Moscow Kremlin Museums in Vladivostok

Transneft has supported a cultural project of the Moscow Kremlin Museums in Vladivostok.  The Map of Russia: Milestones in History exhibition has opened in the V. K. Arseniev Primorskiy Museum at the initiative of Transneft. Rustam Gamberov, General Director of Transneft Kozmino Port, gave a welcoming speech at the opening cerremony.

The exhibition project is implemented within the cooperation between Transneft and the Moscow Kremlin Museums, the Company being the project’s general sponsor. Preservation of historical heritage and popularisation of Russian artworks and culture are the main aims of the project.

The exhibition has 87 items on display: household and art objects, weapons created in court workshops and gifts made to Russian autocrats in honour of the most important events in Russia's geopolitical history. A jeweled Easter egg with a train model made by the House of Fabergé for the Russian Imperial family and dedicated to the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway is the most symbolic exhibition piece.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the general director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Yelena Gagarina thanked Transneft for their cooperation and contribution to preservation of historical memory and promotion of historical knowledge.

The exhibition in the V. K. Arsenyev Primorskiy Museum will be open until December 2018.
