The Kozmino Oil Port has passed an audit to confirm compliance of its occupational health, environmental and energy management systems with international standards.
According to the annual tradition, Transneft Kozmino Port has presented study kits to first graders of secondary school No. 18 in Vrangel microdistrict.
Kozmino Oil Port has completed repairs and equipping of exact science classrooms in two schools of Nakhodka Urban District. On the Knowledge Day, renovated physics, chemistry and mathematics classrooms were opened in schools No. 12 and No. 20 located in Vrangel Microdistrict and Nakhodka. Additionally, in school No. 20, a ventilation system and educational block’s corridors were repaired.
Transneft Kozmino Port has held comprehensive drills on elimination of man-caused emergency. The drill was held in the area of 6.2 km of the section of the Circuit to Oil Depot oil trunk pipeline, which connects port's operating facilities – an oil acceptance site and the Oil Depot.
Transneft Kozmino Port, as part of its charitable activities, has purchased and donated rapid tests to diagnose coronavirus infection to the Nakhodka City Hospital.
Transneft Kozmino Port has won the Best Socially Oriented Company in the Oil and Gas Industry 2020 contest in the Improving Living Conditions category.
Specialists of Transneft Kozmino Port have released 10 thousand specimens of Japanese scallop into the water area of Nakhodka Bay. The release was held under the supervision of representatives of the Primorsk Territorial Directorate of the Russian Federal Agency for Fishery and the Department of Ecology and Nature Management of Nakhodka Urban District.
In the first half of 2020, the Kozmino oil port shipped 17.2 million tons of Russian oil for export through the marine terminal of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline system, which is 5% higher than in the previous year. During the first six months of 2020, the oil terminal’s specialists handled 170 tankers.
Transneft Kozmino Port has provided assistance to the Nakhodkinskaya Gorodskaya Bolnitsa state-funded healthcare institution (Nakhodka City Hospital). The charity funds were used to ensure stable operation of infectious disease divisions established at the hospital and intended for treating patients with the coronavirus infection.
Transneft Kozmino Port, together with a regional department of the Russian Federal Agency for Fishery, has organised release of chum salmon juveniles into the Barabashevka River in Khasansky District of Primorye Territory.
