Kozmino Oil Port Wins City Competition for Best Organisation of Occupational Health Activities

Transneft Kozmino Port has won the annual competition for the best organisation of occupational health activities among the enterprises of Nakhodkinsky City District in 2019.

The company received an award in the "Best Organisation of Occupational Health Activities among Companies of Nakhodkinsky City District Employing over 50 People" category.

The competition was attended by over one hundred large enterprises from various industries, representatives of medium and small businesses. The specially created commission highly appreciated the performance of Kozmino Oil Port in occupational safety management system, introduction of “zero” injuries programme, absence of accidents and occupational diseases, the use of insurance premiums to finance preventive measures and other criteria.

Kozmino Oil Port is one of the largest employers in Primorye Territory. Currently, the Company employs about 800 people, protection of employees’ life and health is among the priorities of the Company’s activity. Port annually implements a number of effective measures, including personnel training, purchase of personal protective equipment which improves working conditions, and holding of motivating creative contests.

“We are proud that according to the results of work in 2019 declared by Transneft as the Year of Occupational Safety, Kozmino Oil Port has become the best among the city leading enterprises and now will participate in a regional competition,” Denis Chepliansky, Director General of Transneft Kozmino Port said.
