According to the results of the first half of 2019, Kozmino Oil Port shipped 16.3 million tonnes of Russian oil through the marine terminal, which is 10% higher than in the previous year.
Export of oil through the terminal point of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean Pipeline System amounted to 16.3 million tonnes in January–June.
During the first six months of 2019, the oil terminal’s specialists handled 161 tankers. The oil shipment schedule is completed in full.
China is traditionally leading among the importers, accounting for about 76% of oil shipments. Japan is second, having received 7% of the oil shipped from the Russian port. South Korea closes the top three with 6% of the volume. For the first six months of 2019, the fourth place belongs to Malaysia (4%), followed by Singapore (3%), New Zealand (2%), Thailand (1%) and the USA (1%).
Since the launch of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean Pipeline System in 2009, 233.8 million tonnes of crude have been exported to Asia and the Pacific through the port of Kozmino.
